As you all know, Thailand is a country with wonderful beaches that are visited by people not only for sunbathing but they are used for diving as well. Besides in Thailand you can see gorgeous girls dancing traditional Thai dances, wearing colorful costumes and moving their hands and fingers in a fascinating way. Moreover, Thailand is the paradise of tropical fruit and the home of a multitude of mysteries related to the invisible world of the spirits. But nowadays, Thailand in general and Pattaya especially is an opportunity for those who want to purchase a condo. This is a great opportunity especially for foreigners who come to live in Pattaya, because one of the local laws concerning foreigners restricts the right for them to own a land in the area. On the other hand it is beneficial for local people too, to get a condo, because Pattaya is situated not far from Bangkok and people living in the capital can afford to purchase a condo in Pattaya as a weekend or holiday destination.

Pattaya condos are in general located on the beach, which is a great attraction for any solar human being who can imagine that in the morning instead of having a shower in the bathroom rushes into the sea and lets his or her body caressed by friendly or rough waves. Besides Pattaya beach condos are the dream of every surf addict who must not spend a lot of time in order to reach his or her hobby destination. To continue with, luxury condos in Pattaya are destined to people who spend a lot of time in the crowd and pollution of big cities, whom are businessmen, artists or politicians and who want to relax for a weekend far from the crowd. And what can be more comforting for any tired person than to watch the sea and to daydream of its colors and mysteries, listening to the waves' music and getting rid of stress.

Pattaya Beach

Condos in Pattaya can be as well a source of business because you can purchase an old condo and you can invest in its renovation and then you can sell it at a higher price, therefore condos are as well a trading opportunity.

You can find advertisements for condos everywhere, in local newspapers or online and you can take advantages of our services as well, as our professionals can offer you the best advice concerning condo purchasing in Pattaya.

You all know that renovating a house or a condo can be big deal. But it can change into an interesting game if you ask help from our experts, who can offer you the latest information related to interior design, style and comfort.

Best Budget Pattaya Hotels Close to Pattaya's Nightlife

Pattaya is the closest beach resort to Bangkok. And just like its sister city - Pattaya has some of the most affordable low budget hotels found in Thailand. And most of them are situated near Pattaya's Beach and close to the raunchy red light district that has infamously put Pattaya on the map.

Pattaya is a city though not large one. So it's best to stay in a hotel close to the center of the city. Fortunately most of the budget hotels are found there. And there are many with some being better then others. Just remember though if you find a room rate with unbelievably low rates it's probably because there is no air conditioning.

Pattaya Beach

Pattaya can get quite hot. So for most tourist air conditioning is an absolute essential.

To start off one of the best budget hotels in Pattaya is called Sunshine Hotel and Residence. Located on Soi 8 on the popular Beach Road (which is close to the red light district), Sunshine offers incredibly low room rates and equally incredible value. For 900THB you get a decent room and the use of 2 swimming pools. And their room rates normally include a free breakfast.

Another fine budget establishment is the Eastiny Hotel that is near the Sunshine Hotel and close to the beaches and bars as well. Eastiny cost a bit more and the rooms are slightly smaller. But it is a good alternative choice if Sunshine is fully booked.

Though one of my favorite budget hotel has to be the Sabai Lodge. It's not the closest to the beach or the red light districts it certainly is not far either. And since there is a Baht bus stop right outside the hotel you have easy access to all of the tourist hot spots. Rooms at the Sabai are clean and well appointed. And there are 4 swimming pools which can easily accommodate guests staying in this hotel.

Now if you're the type who can live comfortably with a fan only in a spartan room then you might want to consider the Sawasdee Sea View Hotel. It's extremely close to the beach and most rooms get a view of it. Best of all by paying 500THB you will get a decent room though it won't be the best shape or condition.

Finally, to land yourself better room rates and deals it is best to book a room through a hotel reservation agency that is based in Thailand. When booking directly through a hotel's website you will often be charged a bit more. Hotel reservation agencies are provided with wholesale rates which are significantly reduced - so a part of the savings are passed on to you.

Holiday Rental in View Talay 3 - Jomtien Pattaya Thailand

View Talay 3 is located in Pratanack and sits on the beach front near Dongtan Jomtien. It is the only View Talay that can be called truly beach front location. From the condo you can stroll down to the beach front through gated entrance. The location of VT3 is quite and peaceful and is approximately 1 ½ Km from Thrappraya road which is the main road into Jomtien and Pattaya. The standard room size is 48sqm but some owners have joined two or more units together. All the apartments have large spacious balconies to sit out on and enjoy a drink with out feeling cramped.

Normally the choice would be to rent on the Pattaya side as it does not get to hot but the views are not so good so most people prefer the Jomtien side where you have good views of the beach and islands. The pool is located close to the beach which means you can have a swim and still hear the sound of the waves. The pool area also has a restaurant serving both Thai and western food. The restaurant is open plan and has breeze from the beach. Very relaxing.

Pattaya Beach

Inside View Talay 3A is a mini mart with all the basic things you require for a holiday but if you require more then the food mart in Jomtien is not far away. As a beach side holiday rental View Talay 3 is perfect but a point worth considering is. If you want to go into town a lot then transportation is not as readily available here as say View Talay 1, 2, 5, 6 or 7 Unless you don't mind hopping on the back of a motor bike taxi.

The average cost of a 48sqm rental is between 19000 and 23000Baht and if your thinking about buying. Between 2.5 and 3.5 Million Baht. So View Talay 3 is a great beach side location but if you want easy access into Pattaya and Jomtien then please consider the transportation. This is a great location for the beach lover who doesn't want long walks or roads to cross to get to the beach.

Pattaya Nightlife - Hedonism, Dreams and Illusions

Pattaya is Thailand's biggest beach destination. Located just two hours from Bangkok, this city by the Gulf of Thailand continues to attract thousands every month from all over the world. What's not to like? Beach, sun and sand. Great entertainment, great food and great nightlife. It's the latter that is the biggest draw for both hopeful foreign men and Thai girls alike.

Pattaya's nightlife is like no other. The city has been referred to as Sin City, but dig a little deeper, and you will find Pattaya has a lot more to offer than outdoor bars and gogo's.

Pattaya Beach

It's always going to be about sex, love and lust though. Pattaya girls are rightly famous around the world for their ability to make men feel like kings, strong, young, desired.

I have travelled much of the world, but there is nowhere like Pattaya. The number of attractive - and single - women in one location is just mind blowing. Walk down a street at night in Pattaya - any random street - and you will know what I mean.

Pattaya is a place of opportunity, of fresh starts in life. You never know what may happen when you leave your room here. Go outside smile at a girl, make small talk, and take it from there. It may come to nothing or it may end up in nights with the best sex you ever had. You may have met your future wife, but you don't know it yet. Whatever you are looking for in Pattaya, there is a good chance you will find it.

Pattaya can seem like an adult playground. Both the guys and the girls seem most interested in the pursuit of instant pleasure and gratification, but there are many who have other dreams in Pattaya. Many foreign men would like to meet a girlfriend or wife and so do many Thai women. The girls dream of their Prince to carry them away to far away countries, or at least a trip in Thailand! I've seen many happy couples over the years who met in Pattaya. I've also seen many bad relationships.

It's easy to live an illusion here and new guys seem most susceptible to getting involved with the wrong kind of girl.

The Best Romantic Vacations

The best romantic vacations are those that bring a couple together. This can mean spending time alone, without friends or family around. It can also mean an opportunity to do things together. Here are five of the best romantic vacations.

Beach Vacations

Pattaya Beach

Beaches are romantic. The sun, sand, and the sound of the waves relax you and take away the stress and worry of "everyday life." Relaxation and escaping stress is always better for romance. Find a place that is ON the beach, not a hotel miles from the beach. Dealing with traffic, packing and unpacking the car is not romantic.

If you are on a budget, you can do like we did in northern Florida. We stayed in our conversion van at a campground on the beach. We collected shells together, flew a kite in the breeze and took our chairs down by the water to watch the sunset. The beaches of the great lakes are another great place to check out, and are much more affordable.

Cruises

Cruises may be the ultimate romantic vacation. You escape it all - even the sight of land. Being isolated together, especially in the comfort of a cruise ship, can be great for a couple. Just be sure that both of you like the idea, and budget enough so money worries don't steal the romance. (Cruise ship bars are notoriously expensive.)

Talk about your options. Perhaps you'll discover that both of you were assuming the other wanted a traditional sunny carribean cruise, when in reality, you both would love to watch whales and glaciers on an Alaskan cruise. There are many different styles and destinations for cruises. See if the cruise has activities that you'll enjoy participating in together.

Trains

In Ecuador, my wife and I took a train from Riobamba to Alausi. It was scenic, romantic and adventurous. I rode on the roof for part of the trip, then we snuggled to keep warm as it went high into the Andes Mountains. The final destination is a valley where you get a view of a rock formation high above, called "La Nariz Del Diablo," or "The Devil's Nose."

There are scenic and romantic train rides all over the world. Some of Amtrak's more scenic stretches take days and can be a vacation in themselves. Otherwise, you can plan a vacation around one or more "dinner trains" or scenic rides like the one we took from Silverton to Durango Colorado (beautiful mountains).

Skiing Vacations

These are only romantic if you both love to ski, of course. To be together in a dramatic setting, sharing something that you both enjoy - that is one of the best romantic vacations imaginable. Don't forget to sit together by the fireplace at least once while you're there.

Small Towns

We have found that some of our most romantic times are when we stay in small towns. This is especially true if the tourist season is mostly over, or hasn't yet begun. Silverton Colorado in September was one of our favorites. No crowds, fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, local music and dancing in the bars at night - it was very romantic.

Location isn't the most important part of the romance. Find a place you both want to go to, by all means, but also remember to find things you can do together. Trips where you can share common interests are the best romantic vacations.

Marco Island Winter Getaway Vacation

Marco Island, Florida is the perfect vacation destination for anyone looking to escape the winter cold and retreat to a warm and sunny paradise. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts due to its prime location off of Florida's Gulf coast, visitors will find an abundance of recreational activities and sandy beaches to fill their itinerary when they getaway to this island jewel. Make your way to Marco Island when you need relief from the chill of the north and let the warm Florida sun wash over you as you relax on a pristine beach.

If you are searching for a quiet place to kick back on Marco Island, South Marco Beach can most likely accommodate your needs. The wide, flat, and expansive beach is perfect for throwing down a towel and soaking up some sun while the clear, green water is great for swimming since it is almost always calm. There are no facilities, however, so remember to pack any drinks or snacks you may need for the day. Nearby Keewaydin Island's public beach, which is accessible by boat, is another popular option with visitors to Marco Island. This unspoiled beach is perfect for beachcombing and shelling or simply soaking in the breathtaking views of the coastline.

Pattaya Beach

When you want a beach that has everything you could possibly imagine, then Tigertail Beach County Park is your best option. There are five boardwalks that make it easy to roam between the white sandy beach and the mangrove-lined parking lot in addition to concessions and restrooms. Upon arrival on the beach, you can gaze out into the expanse and catch sight of Sand Dollar Island, where a diverse selection of birds, such as the Black Skimmers and the Least Terns, make their home. Walking along the shore, keep your eyes peeled for a sand dollar or two or make your way to the volleyball courts for an exciting game near the water.

A vacation on Marco Island is about enjoying the outdoors and one of the best ways to do this is on a fishing excursion. Climb aboard a charter company's boat for some light tackle fishing in search of trout, snapper, tarpon, snook, and redfish for the adventure of a lifetime. For a more well-rounded adventure, consider a charter where you can combine shelling, fishing, and sightseeing all into a day's outing. Troll along the barrier islands for some of the best fishing in the area and to view some of the gorgeous sea birds and dolphins that abound.

For a memorable adventure around this stunning Florida region, consider an eco-tour that provides insight into the diversity and ecosystem of the Everglades. Cruise through the mangroves of the 10,000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge, walk through natural habitats for a look at animals in their unspoiled surroundings, or take a walk on the wild side with an Everglades swamp walk. Whether you are looking for a new adventure, such as swimming with manatees or touring the area in a helicopter, or a more tame way to appreciate the beauty all around you, hiking, biking, and kayaking are always popular options, there is an ideal way for you to enjoy all this gorgeous area has to offer.

Marco Island is the perfect place for a getaway vacation if you love lounging on the beach and exploring ecologically diverse areas. When searching for the right accommodations for your trip, look into the many options of Marco Island rentals. You can stay directly on the beach or in a private, tropical oasis that allows you to escape from the crowds and the commotion. No matter what your reason for retreating to southern Florida, you can truly get away from it all and melt away your stress when you stay in a cozy vacation rental that makes your vacation more relaxing than you ever thought possible.

Edisto Beach House Rental

If you're looking for an Edisto Beach house rental you're in fine company. Edisto Island and its beautiful shoreline hosts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year who are looking for a quiet, friendly and relaxed vacation. And while "hundreds of thousands" may sound like a lot, for an island that is several miles long and a mile wide and has a 4-month peak season, it makes Edisto "slow" compared to Hilton Head, Kiawah, Isle of Palms or the granddaddy Myrtle Beach.

And while some may think the island is too slow, for many, especially those with families, it's just the right place for a happy, fun and safe vacation. Locally you can search for beautiful sea shells and shark's teeth, attend clay crafts, fish and crab, visit the serpentarium or camp or hike in several of the low-country preserves and parks.

Pattaya Beach

What Rental Options are Available

The most popular and in highest demand is the Edisto beach house rental. While most are in the interior, hundreds line the shore from the boardwalk area around to the sound and marina. Design ranges from "cottages" and bungalows to new, modern resorts homes with all the features you would expect in a high-priced resort.

Prices for beach houses (beach front I mean) can be as low as 0/week during off-season to as high as -6,000/week during peak season. These are very reasonable prices considering comparable prices of homes on IOP or Kiawah.

Also, the larger homes can accommodate 2-3 families, so ,000 gets reduced to ,000 per family. That works out to about 5 night in a large, modern beach front home...not bad...not bad at all.

So, basically where you choose should be a reflection of what type vacation you want. Honestly, I have stayed in or traveled to just about every type beach or resort out there, and the vacations and beach trips I remember the most (and had the most fun on) where the ones with my family as a young kid and teenager. The cheap beach shacks were as much if not more fun than the "Palm Beach" homes where we had to watch what we did. It was much more fun when we could relax...really relax.

But the great thing about Edisto beach house rentals is that you get a wide selection. Find one you love to visit and stick with it. After several years of rentals you will probably be able to get special pricing from the owners and a few treats might be awaiting you.

Good Luck!

Overwater Bungalow Vacations

Perhaps all of us have dreamed of vacations at exotic islands or popular beach resorts. Indeed, such vacations are never forgotten. Just imagine that for a week or even two you forget about anything that connects you with the world you have been living in your entire life. At an exotic island you live an entirely different life which is absolutely worry free. Some people call such places a paradise. Well, perhaps this is what a paradise looks like. The zest of such vacations is certainly staying in an overwater bungalow.

What is an overwater bungalow? It looks like a typical beach bungalow but it is constructed under water. The house rests on piles which makes it possible to build such bungalows in the open sea however not far from the shore. As a rule, these bungalows are rented with boats that serve as water taxi. Without any doubt, staying in a such bungalow is a very unusual experience. We got used to see land when we open a door to go outside. In case of an overwater bungalow it is water! There are bungalows of this type without seaview as sea or ocean is all around you.

Pattaya Beach

Even people with average income manage to buy overwater bungalow vacations packages at least once in their life. The fact that a bungalow is over water does not mean it is deprived of comfort and blessings of civilization. Some overwater bungalows have the Internet connection and even sat TV. But these are perhaps the last things you want to have when staying in an overwater bungalow. Although, sometimes these are very necessary and helpful things, and that is why you live like at another planet with connection to the real world. Overwater bungalow vacations packages as a rule include exotic island tours, fishing or yacht trips.

El Medano

The town El Médano is located in the Granadilla de Abona municipality on the Tenerife Island which is one of the Canary Islands. The word El Médano literally means the Sand Dune. This place is in the south coast of Tenerife and is at a short distance from the airport; this is the coolest resort on the island.

The wind in this place is very strong, thereby making it an ideal place for competitions in windsurfing; however the wind power has reduced because of the high rise buildings - apartments and hotels. In spite of this, this place is still popular in the world for kitesurfing windsurfing spots. It has 3 different spots for windsurfing and these are the Bay, the Harbor Wall and Cabezo beach.

Pattaya Beach

Two of the largest natural beaches in Tenerife are - Playa Tejita and Playa Grande and El Médano is situated near these beaches. The Red Mountain is a volcanic cone that is located between the two beaches and it has been declared as a protected natural reserve.

Brother Peter of Saint Joseph Betancur spent some of his time in the cave located in the town. Hence the cave is dedicated to this saint and made as a small shrine.

The most important characteristics of El Médano are as follows.

Strong winds sweeping the resort that attract surfers to a large extent
3 KM long golden natural sand beaches running along its coast
Nudist beaches that are most popular and the best in Tenerife

Beaches

1. Playa El Médano - is a beach with golden sands and is located at the town center; the families love this beach. There is a playground for children and it becomes very busy after school closing time. Adults spend time in the cafes eating tapas and drinking coffee. Montana Roja area in this place is important for its bird sanctuary and is being considered as a special natural reserve and also an important international bird area. More than 100 species of birds can be seen in this place although they come at different times.

2. Playa La Tejita - is the most beautiful and natural beach that can easily be accessed from this village by walk. At the extreme end, one cove is made as a nudist beach.

3. Playa Machado - is at the western end of the resort catering mainly to surfers.

4. Playa de La Pelada - beach is at the easternmost part of the resort and located at the foot of the mountain Pelada and is one of the best nudist beaches in Tenerife.

5. Playa El Cabezo - beach is located on the resort's eastern side where the winds are stronger, thereby making it ideal for windsurfing and kite boarding. International competitions are held in this place.

Look Sexy at the Beach - What Worked For Me

Do you want to look sexy at the beach? Of course you do because when you're at the beach in your bathing suit for the male or a bikini for the female you want to be confident in yourself. You want to be proud that you can walk around with revealing cloths on and still feel sexy.

I wasn't exactly the best looking male last year and always desired to look sexy at the beach. I was obese with stomach rolls all over and my body just didn't appeal to anyone. But, I figured out a way to change that!

Pattaya Beach

I was able to look sexy at the beach by using a weight loss system. These systems show you how to lose weight which allows you to get a toned and cut body which is what we all want. By following these systems you will look sexy at the beach every time you go.

Through the weight loss system I used I was not only able to get ready for beach trips during the summer but I was also taught how to keep the weight I lost off forever. This was amazing because I didn't go through all the hard work to lose the weight and then gain it back a few weeks later.

Weight loss systems are truly life-changing and many of them are scientifically proven to work. The one I used is not only scientifically proven to work but I can prove to you that it works because I was able to lose a lot of weight by using it!

Florida Tourist Attractions

Palm Beach, The Gold Coast

Kind of like the Hamptons but with less of a nightlife scene, this playground for the rich and famous is a society based on benefit bashes, second houses (mansions), very fine dining and Beverly Hills-style shopping. If chiming right in is a bit out of your league, you're certainly not alone. But you shouldn't be scared off, either.

Pattaya Beach

A stroll along the beach is stunning, a slow drive past the massive gated compounds (or a stroll through the Breakers hotel) is anthropological-based gawking at its best, and chowing down at one of the few affordable restaurants is a sober reminder that not everyone is a Rockefeller (witness the very real waitress and short-order cooks at Green's Pharmacy). Love it or hate it, 'the Island', as it's called, is a classic and inextricable part of Florida life.

The long, narrow island of Palm Beach sits between the Introcoastal Waterway, here called Lake Worth, and the Atlantic Ocean. It's just east of West Palm Beach and those other communities stretching southward. The main north-south artery is S County Rd (Hwy A1A), and two major bridges link downtown with the mainland, Flagler Memorial Bridge (Royal Poinciana Way). Further south, Southern Blvd and Atlantic Ave both provide access to the Island.

Downtown stretches from Royal Poinciana Way to Worth Ave, with most major sights scattered between. Prices tend to rise as you head southward. Ocean Blvd runs from the southern edge of the Breakers to the tip of the Island; most of the mansions worth ogling are below Worth Ave.

Fort Lauderdale, The Gold Coast

Once upon a time, Fort Lauderdale was known as a main destination for beer swilling college students on raucous Spring Break vacations. And, up until the mid-80s it was this accurate set of images - of drunk 19 year-old girls in wet T-shirt contests, bands of boys drinking beer in the streets and constant partying at unfortunate beach side hotels - that dominated most people's knowledge of the place. But my, what a difference a couple of decades make!

Today, after a concerted effort to clean itself up by outlawing activities that load to such alcohol-fueled bacchanalia, Fort Lauderdale has been successful in attracting more matured and sophisticated visitors with its myriad offerings (though there's still plenty of carrying on within the confines of many a bar and nightclub). The city's Port Everglades is even the winter home to the new swanky Queen Mary II cruise ship for heaven's sake.

Though much of the inland portion of the city consist of endless, unattractive strip malls, seek out the good stuff and you'll find yourself rewarded. You'll find beautiful beaches, a system of Venice-like waterways, an international yachting scene, spiffy new hotels, top-notch restaurants, and gay hot-spots, all just 40 minutes up the coast from Miami.

Fort Lauderdale, 40 miles north of Miami, is set out in a grid where physically possible (it's hard with the water breaking things up). It's also divided into 3 parts: the beach, east of the Intracoastal Waterway, downtown on the main land, and Port Everglades, the cruise port south of the city. US Hwy 1 cuts through downtown, while Highway A1A runs along the ocean and is also called Atlantic Blvd or Ocean Blvd, depending if you're north or south of Sunrise Blvd. The main roads between downtown and the beach are Sunrise Blvd to the north, Las Olas Blvd in the center and 17th St to the south.

Castillo De San Marcos, Atlantic Coast

In 1672, after the British had burned the city around them one time too many, the Spanish began constructing this coquina citadel. Completed 23 years later, it's the oldest masonry fort in the continental US. Rangers wearing Spanish-colonial uniforms add to the medieval ambiance of the place. Cannons can be heard all over town when they're fired every Sunday, The fort is located between San Marcos Ave & Matanzas River.

Bali Island - a Tropical Paradise

The island of Bali is located in the tropics, just about 6º South of the equator. Blessed with warm temperatures, where the variation is very small throughout the year, with sunrises at 6 am in the morning and sunsets at 6 pm. Gentle climate, friendly people and modern Villas in Bali, make this place a paradise on earth.

When planning your next vacation consider the Saner beach, situated in the southeastern side of Bali, and just a 10-minute drive from Denpasar. Bali Villas located in this area are excellent to jog on the sandy beach and watch the sunrises. Many of those villas near the ancient temple were constructed as the first resort centers developed on the island.

Pattaya Beach

If you want to rent a Villa in Bali located on the opposite side of Sanur, the beaches of Legian and Kuta are situated in the southwest part of the island, offering surfing and other activities that watersports enthusiasts will enjoy. With many shops scattered all over the seashore, pubs and other facilities, Kuta has become the Indonesian tourist Mecca.

Traveling to any of these destinations brings you not only to Bali Villas, but also to memorable experiences enjoying the local culture, public dance performers and the pleasant and varied environment surrounding each setting, ranging from natural wilderness to romantic gateways and spiritual landmarks.

Nusa Dua is the newest luxurious resort area on the island, where you are more likely to find the most sumptuous Villas in Bali, including hotels, condos and other world-class facilities. The crystal clear water of this beach provides excellent diving and snorkeling, featuring also waves on the northern and southern area of the beach for surfing.

People wanting to rent a Villa in Bali closer to a romantic setting, the Soka Beach in the northwest of Denpasar, offers a small quiet beach, located on the way to Gilimanuk, the ferry port town connecting Bali and Java. Nearby, and along the path towards Gilimanuk, the Medewi Beach in the village of Pulukan enriches the spirit and soul of locals and visitors.

Lovina Beach is near the northern tip of the island that lays a stretch of Bali Villas by the Bali Sea, with excellent snorkeling and diving, as well as chartered boats to go out into the sea. Sunset watching approaches paradise from here, a beach not as crowded as the Kuta Beach.

Last but not least on your list of Villas in Bali, are those located in Jimbaran, which offer the convenience of being located south of the airport. Jimbaran is considered as the narrow neck of the island, providing the village with the benefit of two different beaches: on the east facing the Benoa Harbor, on the west, facing the Jimbaran Bay and its luxurious resorts and Bali Villas.

Its pleasant weather through the year brings people down in droves to enjoy a kick back outdoor lifestyle and enough activities to keep them busy 24/7. When you go to Miami, if you want, you can mix a dose of culture with your fun on the beach and your partying in the clubs.

There are a number of annual events in South Beach and other parts of the city that provide entertainment for everyone.

Pattaya Beach

February

When most of the rest of the United States is freezing in late February you might want to pack your bags and head down to the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. It takes place at different locations in the South Beach area and raises money for the Florida International University hospitality program.

So, you'll be enjoying fantastic food prepared by celebrity chefs as well as local cooks doing cooking demonstrations. You'll also be tasting wine, and you'll be contributing to a good cause. Life doesn't get much better.

March

You'll want to hit the Irish pubs and enjoy Irish food, Irish music, and Irish libations in Miami when everyone celebrates St. Patrick's Day.

If you're into electronic and dance music, hit South Beach for the Winter Music Conference, which attracts DJs as well as musicians. You can also get an education on the music business at seminars during the conference. Just into partying and dancing? They're all around you at Lummus Beach, local parks and local clubs.

Want a break from partying but don't want to necessarily get too heavy? The Miami International Film Festival spans ten days and showcases films from local filmmakers as well as filmmakers from around the world in a variety of different genres. It's held in various venues around the city.

July

The Fourth of July is another fantastic time to be in Miami. Each Independence Day celebration brings live music at Bayfront Park along with fireworks.

August and September The International Ballet Festival began in 1995 and it's been taking center stage at different venues, including the Jackie Gleason Theater, during August and September. A lot of extraordinary dancers are involved. It's presented by the Miami Hispanic Ballet Company and has received acclaim throughout the media and is appreciated by everyone.

October The International Caribbean Music Festival, held in Bicentennial Park, is an event that celebrates one of the many cultures that makes Miami what it is. You'll love the mood and the music that's performed by musicians from throughout the Caribbean.

December A rather unusual event, the King Mango Strut, takes place shortly after Christmas. It's a parade that's a parody of the Orange Bowl Parade and current events. It follows a route down Main Avenue and Grand Avenue in Coconut Grove. Catch it if you can.

Sight Seeing in Pattaya Thailand - Spend a Day at Pattaya Floating Market

Sightseeing in Pattaya. What to see and do in Pattaya.

Most people who come on holiday to Pattaya tend to think that the only entertainment is to be found in the bars and on the beach.

Pattaya Beach

Pattaya has much, much more to offer than that. In the 40 or so years since Pattaya first started to become a holiday destination, all sorts of sightseeing attractions have been developed. Many have been here since before the Farang arrived but only in the last 10 years or so have their economic wealth and vale as a tourist attraction been fully exploited.

Only a few minutes outside of Pattaya are many interesting places to visit, which is making the Pattaya of today a much more family oriented holiday destination than it once was.

The attractions are many, such as:
Sailing.
Fishing.
Diving.
Elephant riding.
Pattaya floating market.
Buddha mountain.
Under water world to name but a few. This article is focusing on the Pattaya floating market.

The floating market is located just outside Pattaya going South towards Ban Sare. Approximately 6 km from Tesco Lotus South Pattaya.

There is no entrance fee so it's up to you what you spend. The facilities there are modern and clean with plenty of toilets seating and of course ATM's

To get there is easy. Many of the baht buses will take you there for about 500 Baht or you can join a coach from one of the hotels.

A day out at the market is a day well spent especially if you've only been spending your time on beach road.

The aim of the market is to show case the four regions of Thailand. North, South Esarn and Central Thailand. Inside the market you'll find food vendors and craftsman making traditional handicrafts.

The market is on a lake and the buildings are all built on stilts. There are walk ways between the four regions and as you walk from region to region the food changes as does the traditional local music. You can hire a longboat to take you around visiting the four regions. As you walk over the wooden gang ways you'll see vendors selling from their boats and cooking their local food. The floating market is not only popular with tourist but local Thai's as well go there. The food on sale is all at local prices that you'd pay outside which makes this not only an enjoyable outing but inexpensive as well. A typical meal will cost you no more than 50 Baht or .72c or £1.06p. Very good value for money. During the day there are shows of traditional Thai dancing and music. Sit and relax in one of the many wooden restaurants serving food from their region. There is always plenty to see at the floating market. Have your portrait painted, feed the Elephants, and try the local delicacies such as deep fried Locust, grubs, and pupae. Although fried chicken seems to be more popular. There are many events held at the market such as boxing over the lake on a log. The looser gets wet! The latest attraction is the rope ride over the lake, again not expensive and that can be said for the entire day out at the market. An interesting and memorable day out that doesn't cost a lot. If you want to avoid the crowds then don't visit at the weekend.

A Place in Florida - Why Sanibel Shelling is World Class

There's a place in Florida that everybody knows has world-class shelling.

But fewer people know why.

Pattaya Beach

This place in Florida, Sanibel Island, along with its sister island Captiva, is regarded as the biggest natural jewel in Florida's crown of vacation jewels. With 15 miles of beaches chock-full of shells, they long have been known as the place in Florida to visit if you don't like high-rises, Golden Arches or 'big box' stores. Over several decades of struggle, residents have largely succeeded in keeping big developers at bay.

Hordes of Northerners (and Floridians) come here for the ultimate in a getaway vacation - the beaches, the shelling, the laid-back lifestyle - as often as they can afford it. The toll to get here from Fort Myers is a mere pittance to enjoy what Sanibel and Captiva have to offer.

That's why on most days there are world-class traffic jams between 3 and 6 p.m.

They don't come here to fish, although great fishing is nearby. Shelling and beachcombing are the sports of the day - every day. You can find more than 400 species of shells on these beaches.

Here's why:

Like a big kidney-shaped shell mound, Sanibel lies on an unusual slant at the eastern end of the Gulf of Mexico. Most of Florida's other barrier islands lie north-south. Under water, from far out, the Gulf slopes gradually toward Sanibel. When waves in the Gulf move across this relatively shallow water, they scoop up the shells and deposit them on Sanibel's beaches.

When is shelling best? Watch the tide tables. The tides are the key to good shelling. Low tide is the best - after the tides have deposited the shells on the beach. And watch the moon phases. More beach is exposed during a full moon or a new moon, which means more shells on the beach. Winter and spring months offer better opportunities for shelling than do summer and fall. And, if there's been a recent storm, that also means better shelling.

You don't necessarily have to avoid hurricane season, but it's wise to keep your eyes on the weather. After a hurricane is good for shelling.

In 2004, Hurricane Charley hit Sanibel and Captiva hard, downing Australian pines, ripping off roofs, downing power lines - and destroying 40% of the habitat in Sanibel's major attraction, the J.N. (Ding) Darling National Wildlife Refuge, which occupies a huge portion of the 72 per cent of the island that can never be developed. The damaged areas have since recovered, and the habitat is coming back.

I've gotten sand between my toes on Sanibel's beach, and I've picked up a few shells here and there. But I'm no pro. So I'm not one to tell you how to do it. You'll have to develop your own style.

But...

If there can be world-class sunsets, this place in Florida has my vote for No. 1. The best advice I can give is based on a personal experience:

Book an evening meal at the famed Tween Waters Inn on Captiva, as I did, walk across the road to the beach - and marvel at what you see. Don't forget to take your camera. The sunset is absolutely thrilling. And, I might add, the meal was hard to beat, too!

Golf in Pattaya

While you may not automatically associate golf with Pattaya, you might be interested to know that top golfers like Jack Nicklaus, Dennis Griffiths, Gary Player and Nick Faldo actually designed the course here.

Why Golf is Special in Pattaya

Pattaya Beach

You could not ask for better weather for a round of golf. The climate is tropical, the sun is generous and you're surrounded by azure blue waters, emerald lagoons and evergreen rainforests. Oh, and in case you already forgot, a female caddy who acts as your own private cheerleader.

The courses in Pattaya are beyond spectacular. There are championship greens here that most people would not be able to afford to golf on back home. Fortunately, golf in Pattaya is cheap, really cheap! Green fees start at 500 Baht so even adding on a car, a girl, beer and a souvenir, you've still had quite an inexpensive day.

Where to Golf

Pattaya Golf and Sports Club - This is a fairly new course and one that stays pretty busy with both golfers and nature lovers. The greens are housed in a very natural environment with plenty of interesting birds and plants to observe. The club also has exceptional accommodations if you're looking for a place to stay as well as several restaurants and a spa.

Burapha Golf Club - David Graham along with Gary Panks designed these 37 holes found in Sri Racha's rolling countryside. The setting is tropical and elegant and is rated a must see. Although golf is traditionally cheap in Pattaya, Burapha Golf Club is the most expensive place you will find.

Laim Chabang Golf Club - This remarkable 27-hole course was designed by Jack Nicklaus. There has been several professional tournaments played here so you know these greens are challenging. Here you will find an abundance of ponds, creeks, lakes, extra-large rock formations and sand bunkers to get in your way.

Noble Place Golf Club - If you're looking for a super cheap place to Golf in Pattaya, Noble Place Golf Club is definitely it. Peter Thompson designed this 27-hole course that is perfect for the average player. It's challenging enough to keep you interested but modest enough to allow you to keep your dignity.

Things to Bring When You're on an African Safari Trip

Safari Clothing - The clothes you bring on a trip are important because you want to be both comfortable and protected. In the wilds of Africa, a long sleeve shirt is a must to bring to protect you from annoying mosquito bites and to keep you from the hot sun as well. You'll need long trousers too for the same reasons. Avoid also bright colored clothing because it can attract animals. For that reason, most safari clothing you will find come in khaki, tan, and light brown. Neutral colors are also effective in keeping you cooler during warm days.

Back Pack - When you pack for your African travel, you have to carry your back pack not more than 25 pounds since you will be lugging it around from camp to camp. Make sure that the straps of your pack fit you comfortably. Thus it is also better to talk to your travel specialist of how many things will you be bringing because you may only need a few days of clothing supply since many of the camps and lodges have laundry facilities.

Pattaya Beach

Sun and Mosquito Protection - You have to keep in mind that you are not going to a beach, but to a Safari. Therefore you will most probably encounter mosquitoes so it is better to bring strong mosquito repellent containing DEET with you. Be sure to spray your clothes and exposed skin. Avoid also using perfume, hairspray, and other scented products because they may attract mosquitoes. Remember to also pack sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.

Polarized Sunglasses - Bring polarized sunglasses with good quality to protect you from the strong, bright sun.

Good Walking Shoes - Bring comfortable shoes that fit you well. Pack good quality socks too. These can help you walk and roam around the place easy.

Sun Hat - Bring a quality hat with a good brim to cover your face and ears.

Camera - Capture the wonderful sceneries and as well as rare animals that you see on the African travel. Make sure to bring also extra batteries.

Other things that you can bring are: Personal toiletries, binoculars, basic medical supplies, tissues, waterproof bags for camera and electronic devices.

There's a lot of Accomodation type you can choose to stay in Pattaya. If you have a lot of times of your Vacation. (mostly do)

I suggest you to stay in the longstay apartment or guest house and bargain them for the best price, Acutally the price will range between 300-500 USD per month(included everything). It will make you save extra money to use for other things rather than paying for the hotel charge rooms and you can enjoy everything exactly the same as one who choose to live in hotel as well as the service.

Till now it's all up to you where you should to go, but for me I think Pattaya is the place to go & visit once in the life times.

But this career is very rewarding, and bestows the individual with the satisfaction of representing the country and protecting the country's interests overseas.

you time and money.

Pattaya Beach

First of all, Bangkok is the capital city in Thailand. The Thais refer to it as "Krung Thep". Bangkok is a sprawling city that is hard to get around if you don't know what you're doing. A good map of the city is a good idea to keep handy.

Pattaya is a seaside resort about two hour and 15 minutes from Bangkok. It is a resort that started as a GI
R & R getaway during the Vietnam war. It has a "infamous" reputation that mostly lives up to its' famous moniker of "sin city". But, Pattaya is getting a makeover and is quickly starting to change it's image. There are more family oriented venues and attractions popping up every day. In fact, there is now a Russian circus that is very entertaining and a good evening out for anyone regardless of age.

There are plenty of activities to be had that don't involve the famous nightlife. There are some high-end
resort that cater to your every need. You can have a day at the spa and a massage or relax at the beach if that's what you choose.

There are several ways to get to Pattaya from Bangkok. You can take a taxi from anywhere in the city and it will cost you around 1,000 baht to 1,500 baht depending on what you negotiate. It pretty simple and straight forward, but definitely negotiate a price before you leave.

A bus is the cheapest way to go and will cost you between 113 baht and 120 baht depending on where you catch it. There are bus stations at Ekamai, Mor Chit and Bang Na.

Ekamai Bus Station is the most convenient station since it's located next to the BTS(locally referred to as the "sky train") station at Ekamai. The fare is 113 baht

Bang Na is the newest station on the Pattaya route but isn't conveniently accessible except by taxi. The fare from Bang Na is 113 baht. The fare from Mor Chit is 120 baht.

Happy travels and Sawatdee Kup.

Pattaya Budget Hotels For Short and Long Term Stay

One of the most popularly visited cities in Thailand is located on the eastern gulf called Pattaya. Just a two hour bus ride away Pattaya is most well known as the 'poor man's' beach-side resort because of the abundance of budget hotel choices located throughout the city. And some of Pattaya's most affordable accommodations are even right on the beach. But there are a few things you should know before you go ahead and reserve a room at a cheap hotel.

When is the best time to book a hotel in Pattaya for the best deals?

Pattaya Beach

The low season which is from March to early November brings heavy rain quite frequently. The heat index is way higher as well especially when the high humidity kicks in from the tropics. But most don't mind it because room rates during the low season are slashed from 20% to 40%, making it an ideal time to save some money.

Pattaya Hotels that cost around Baht 500 per night? Are they worth it?

Baht 500 is roughly US dollars and there are many hotels in Pattaya charging around that price range. And suffice to say being so cheap makes any hotel charging that much extremely popular with travelers from all over the world. The only thing is that a room with that price normally doesn't include air conditioning, just a fan. To some it's a big deal. To others not so big. But Pattaya does get very hot and the heat lingers on into the night which makes it difficult to sleep. At least for me personally. A room with air conditioning in the same hotel will usually cost just Baht 100 more.

Here are a few names of popular hotels in the Baht 500 price range:

Sawasdee Sabai Sawasdee Sunshine Sawasdee Sea View (right by Pattaya Beach)

It goes without saying, the quality of those hotels are not the greatest. And most of the cheap accommodations in the city include a very simple breakfast with the room if that's and consolation. But if all you need is a clean bed, a hot shower and be in a location right in the heart of all the activity such as the red light district, beach and shopping then those hotels are perfect for short term stay. If you can afford to spend a bit more you'll notice a major difference in room quality if you pay double.

Here are a few names of hotels that cost Baht 1000 and really well worth the money:

Sunshine Hotel and Residence Eastiny Inn Sabai Lodge

Accommodations that usually charge that much offer a decent buffet breakfast with the room and some even provide swimming pools and a small fitness center. Air conditioning is included of course. It's a perfect choice for anyone planning to stay in the area for longer periods of time in comfort.

Pattaya - Meaning South West Monsoon Wind

The city of Pattaya is located along the Gulf of Thailand, on its East Coast. This tourist city plays host to more than 5.4 million visitors, with many high rise skyscrapers and a reputation as a city that never sleeps. It was during the 1960s that Pattaya began to focus on tourism as opposed to fishing for its inhabitants' livelihood. There is also a large expat community in Pattaya, many from the UK and from Russia. Thai people from Bangkok escaped the worst of the heat and pollution in their capital city by recognizing the benefits of the sea air and began holidaying here. Pattaya became a recognized beach resort for many of the servicemen stationed at U-Tapao, the US base in Rayong province, during the Vietnam War with the result that Pattaya acquired a rather suspect reputation. As the Vietnam War came to a conclusion and the servicemen were shipped home, Pattaya lost its identity, resurrected later when it came to be put on the tourist map during the era of mass tourism.

Pattaya remained a haunt for single men seeking out local girls, a reputation that has remained until quite recently when the Thai Government began to legislate against the lucrative sex industry, attempting to make Pattaya a respectable place for families to bring their children on holiday. Petty crime and pollution remained rife, despite the Pattaya City Act which appointed a local Council-Manager to oversee the self-administrating municipality - an act which did not particularly find favour with the local residents of Pattaya. In 2008 the Thai Government imposed a restriction on alcohol sales designed to stop the 24-hour image portrayed abroad, with the intention of greatly limiting the continuing sex industry that continued to grow.

Pattaya Beach

Family tourism has, however, developed despite its suspect reputation, with 35,000 hotel rooms being available for tourism during 2005 and families from the Eastern European countries and from Scandinavia finding Pattaya a place they enjoyed holidaying in.

Apart from the famous sweep of Pattaya Beach, there is a huge range very beautiful scenery. A visit to Mae Hong Son mountains is absolutely delightful, with its breathtaking scenery. If you fancy a change of beachfront there is always a trip to the Andaman Islands, limestone islands thrust up from the Andaman Sea. With Thai music and dance, the food and the architecture you will be really spoiled for choice and find you will want to return to Pattaya again and again.

Pratumnak Hill Pattaya - Holiday Rentals Close to the Beach

Pattaya is made up of lots of smaller parts such as Naklua, Wongamat, Jomrien and Pratumnak.

Until 10 or so years ago Pratumnak was really just a piece of land between Pattaya and Jomtien. Now it is one of the most sought after property locations in Pattaya.

Pattaya Beach

Why? Being located on a hill and between Jomtien and Pattaya Pratumnak has a beach front which boasts clean sandy beaches with views of Koh Larn island. Today many people choose to stay here on holiday to enjoy the beach with out the hassle of Pattaya. It could be said that Pratumnak has its own village community. Yet being close enough to Pattaya to enjoy all the fun and excitement but also being a retreat to relax in.

Pratumnak has many modern apartments and houses for rent and sale with views across to the islands. Also what makes Pratumnak exclusive is the Royal Cliff Resort which has royal patronage.

Something worth considering; Because Pratumnak has become so popular there is a lot of construction of new apartments taking place. Before renting make sure to ask if there is any building work near by. Please do not think Pratumnak is one big building site; because its not but there are hot spots of construction.

Interesting land marks are: Buddha hill and the View point. The View point is where every picture you have ever seen of Pattaya bay has been taken from. From here you can watch the sun set into the sea. Best to arrive there at about 6:05PM. Why 6:05PM? Because at 6:00PM the Thai national anthem is played and you will be expected to stand and listen in respect. If you carry on walking and talking expect to get shouted at by one of the naval personnel there. The Royal Thai navy has a weather station there. Also at the top of the View point is a statue of Admiral Prince Abhakara Kiartiwongse. The father of the modern Thai navy. He studied naval warfare in Great Britain in the 19th century.

Pratumnak is easy to get to. From Walking Street in Pattaya it is no more than a couple of minutes away by motor bike taxi. Or you can walk there along Bali Hi to the light house. From Jomtien you turn left at the top of Thappraya road and your there. Thappraya road is the main road that links Pattaya to Jomtien. In fact many years ago it was the main road into Pattaya. But that was many years ago. Pattaya today has changed beyond all recognition since then.

Although considered a relatively exclusive area property rentals are not outrageous. With studio apartments starting from 16,000Baht a month and Villa rental at 40,000Baht.
Getting around is easy as there are many Baht Buses running back and forth from Pattaya. Or hire a motor bike! But please wear your crash helmet. Just because you're on holiday doesn't mean to say you can forget basic road safety.

If you're thinking about staying in Pattaya then Pratumnak is worth considering.
